Police again unable to interview Woods

NEW YORK, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Mike Pelfrey allowed six hits in six innings Friday, and New York got three scoreless innings from its bullpen in the Mets' 4-2 win over Philadelphia.
The division-leading Phillies ended their four-game winning streak.
Jeff Francoeur went 3-for-4 and hit a solo homer, helping the Mets end a two-game skid.
Pelfrey (9-8) gave up the pair of runs on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts. He had just one win in his previous six starts.
Francisco Rodriguez, who gave up two hits in the ninth, picked up his 27th save.
Losing pitcher Cole Hamels (7-8) lasted just five innings and gave up 10 hits and four runs. He is 0-3 in his last four appearances.
Philadelphia had won its five previous meetings with the Mets.
