TORONTO, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero and Juan Rivera homered Saturday, keying the Los Angeles Angels' 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Guerrero's solo shot snapped a 3-3 tie with no outs in the top of the sixth. Rivera hit a two-run homer in the eighth.
Maicer Izturis drove in two runs for the winners, while Gary Matthews Jr. and Chone Figgins had one RBI apiece. Erick Aybar had three hits for the Angels, who have won six of eight.
Winner Ervin Santana (7-6) gave up three runs and seven hits in six innings.
Toronto's runs scored on Adam Lind's 25th homer, a three-run, third-inning blast.
The losing pitcher was starter Scott Richmond (6-7).
The Blue Jays have now lost six of seven.
