MLB: Chicago White Sox 4, Baltimore 1

CHICAGO, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Carlos Quentin's solo homer Saturday helped the Chicago White Sox post a 4-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Winning pitcher John Danks (11-8) gave up a run on three hits but walked six in 6 1/3 innings. Bobby Jenks worked a scoreless ninth to earn notch his 27th save.

Alexei Ramirez and Mark Kotsay also drove in runs in the win.

Nolan Reimold had a triple to account for one of the four hits for Baltimore, which is 2-6 over its last eight games.

Brian Roberts went 0-for-3 and saw his 11-game hitting streak end. David Hernandez (4-6) took the loss after giving up three runs on just three hits in four innings.
