GREENSBORO, N.C., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Sergio Garcia and Chris Riley were tied for the lead Saturday when the third round of the Wyndham Championship was suspended by darkness.

Garcia and Riley were at 13-under par through 10 holes. Garcia chose not to hit a 9-foot birdie putt on the 11th green after the horn blew to suspend play.

Weather delays came after the second round ended and after the third round started.

The tournament has been playing catch-up since a long delay during Thursday's first round.

Steve Marino was the leader in the clubhouse at 12-under 198. He shot a 7-under 63 in the third round. Marino shared third place with Justin Rose (13 holes), Fred Couples (12 holes) and Kevin Stadler (11 holes).

Riley shared the lead entering the third round with Ryan Moore and Jeff Maggert.
