T. Owens to miss Green Bay game

PITTSFORD, N.Y., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Buffalo wide receiver Terrell Owen's sore toe will keep him out of the Eagles' pre-season game at Green Bay Saturday, his coach says.

Coach Dick Jauron, who made the decision to sit Owens, said it will be "next week some time" before the receiver gets back out on the practice field.

Owens' sprained toe was first revealed after Buffalo's 21-18 loss to Tennessee on Aug. 9. It was his first game for the Bills following his release by Dallas.
