CINCINNATI, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Ryan Garko's two-run double in the 10th inning Tuesday drove in the winning run in San Francisco's 8-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Garko, who had tied the game with a two-run single in the sixth, brought Pablo Sandoval and Randy Winn in from second and third and then scored on Aaron Rowand's single.
The damage came against Francisco Cordero (1-3), who took the loss after giving up three runs on three hits and a walk in two-thirds of an inning.
Bob Howry (1-5) picked up the win in relief of Giants ace Tim Lincecum, who gave up five runs on four hits and three walks in six innings. Brian Wilson earned his 29th save.
Cincinnati scored four runs off Lincecum in the second inning. Lincecum walked in one run and surrendered a two-run single to Reds starter Homer Bailey.
The Giants scored four in the sixth to tie the game 5-5.
