PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Jayson Werth hit two solo homers, and Cliff Lee pitched a complete game two-hitter Wednesday in Philadelphia's 8-1 win over Arizona.

Werth had three of Philadelphia's 12 hits, and his homers, in the fifth and the seventh, gave him 27 this season.

Ryan Howard hit his 31st, a three-run shot in the fifth.

Chase Utley hit a two-run, third-inning homer for the Phillies, who can cap a three-game sweep with a win Thursday.

Lee is 4-0 since joining the Phillies in a trade with Cleveland last month.

He surrendered a run and two hits with no walks and 10 strikeouts.

Arizona's run scored on Stephen Drew's fourth-inning sacrifice fly.

Chad Tracy and Alex Romero each had one hit for the Diamondbacks, who have lost four in a row.

Dan Haren (12-8) took the loss.
