MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 7, St. Louis 3

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Chad Billingsley held St. Louis to three hits over six innings and picked up the win Tuesday in the Dodgers' 7-3 win over the Cardinals.

Billingsley (12-6) held the Cardinals to two runs and Jonathan Broxton picked up his 26th save to even the three-game series.

Orlando Hudson and Andre Ethier both went 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Dodgers.

Khalil Green and Brendan Ryan each drove in a run for the Cardinals, who had won five consecutive games.

Starting pitcher Mitchell Boggs (1-2) was roughed up for five runs on nine hits in four-plus innings en route to the loss.

Los Angeles scored two runs in the fourth inning and added three more in the fifth on RBI singles by Manny Ramirez, James Loney and Hudson.

St. Louis pulled to within two runs in the seventh, but Russell Martin's RBI double in the home half made it 6-3.
