DETROIT, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Well-traveled forward Todd Bertuzzi has signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings.

The NHL club didn't divulge how much it will pay the 34-year-old free agent, who had 15 goals and 29 assists in 66 games for Calgary last season.

Bertuzzi has 255 career goals and 624 points in 859 NHL games in 13 seasons with the New York Islanders, Vancouver, Florida, Detroit, Anaheim and Calgary.

He spent just eight games with the Red Wings during his first stint in Detroit in 2007.
