MLB: Los Angeles Angels 8, Baltimore 5

BALTIMORE, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero hit two home runs and had five RBI Monday to lead the Los Angeles Angels to an 8-5 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Maicer Izturis and Kendry Morales also homered for the Angels, who won the final three games of the four-game series.

Ervin Santana (6-6) was the winning pitcher after allowing the Orioles three runs and seven hits in six innings. The Angels won for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Cesar Izturis had three hits and Nick Markakis homered for Baltimore.

David Hernandez (4-5) was charged with the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits and four walks in 5 1/3 innings.
