PHOENIX, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Randy Wolf hit a two-run home run, drove in three runs and carried a one-hitter into the eighth inning Sunday in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 9-3 win over Arizona.
Wolf (7-6) picked up the win with 10 strikeouts and no walks, He retired 20 consecutive batters after giving up a single in the first inning.
He stroked an RBI double in the eighth inning to go with his two-run homer in the fourth -- his first home run of the season and the fifth of his career.
Andre Ethier had a three-run homer and four RBI for the Dodgers, who broke a three-game losing streak. Orlando Hudson added a two-run homer.
The Diamondbacks scored all three of their runs in the eighth on a home run by Rusty Ryal, a groundout by Augie Ojeda and an RBI triple by Stephen Drew.
Yusmerio Petit (2-7) took the loss. He gave up seven runs on nine hits in four innings.
