MLB: Tampa Bay 8, Toronto 3

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Carl Crawford and Evan Longoria each had two RBI Saturday to help the Tampa Bay Rays post an 8-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Crawford doubled twice, scored three times and walked, while Longoria extended his hitting streak to eight games with two hits for the Rays, who ended a five-game losing streak.

Tampa Bay's Scott Kazmir (7-7) gave up three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.

Aaron Hill hit a two-run homer, his 28th home run of the season, for the Blue Jays, who lost for the third time in four games.

Brian Tallet (5-7), starting in place of Brett Cecil due to a knee injury, allowed five runs and 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings. Tallet was making his first start since facing Tampa Bay on July 25.
