MLB: Texas 4, Cleveland 1

CLEVELAND, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Hot-hitting Josh Hamilton had four hits and knocked in two runs for the Texas Rangers Thursday in a 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Hamilton, who batted 9-for-12 in the three-game series, hit a third-inning double that drove in two runs, sending the Rangers ahead to stay.

Scott Feldman (12-4) recorded the win, allowing a run and seven hits in six innings, and Frank Francisco earned his 16th save.

Shin-Soo Choo drove in the Indians' run with a sacrifice fly.

Losing pitcher Jeremy Sowers (4-8) gave up four runs and eight hits before leaving the contest with one out in the sixth inning.
