CHICAGO, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Ryan Howard ripped a three-run homer and Pedro Feliz drilled a solo shot Thursday, powering the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6-1 win over the Chicago Cubs.
Winning pitcher Cliff Lee (3-0) worked eight innings, holding the Cubs to a run and six hits with eight strikeouts.
Ryan Theriot singled in the only run in the Cubs' fifth straight loss.
Loser Ryan Dempster (6-6) gave up six runs and eight hits.
The Phillies win completed a three-game series sweep. It was the first time they swept the Cubs in Chicago since taking a four-game set 25 years ago.
