MLB: Colorado 10, Pittsburgh 1

DENVER, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Clint Barmes and Troy Tulowitzki homered and Dexter Fowler hit three doubles Thursday, leading a 15-hit Colorado attack that buried the Pittsburgh Pirates 10-1.

Barmes hit a two-run homer and totaled three RBI, Tulowitzki whacked a solo shot and Fowler scored three times in the Rockies' fourth win in five games.

Winning pitcher Jason Marquis (13-8) held the Pirates to a run and three hits, with six strikeouts, in seven innings.

Andrew McCutchen drove in the Pittsburgh run with a sacrifice fly.

Paul Maholm (6-7) was roughed up for seven runs and 11 hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Pirates, who have lost 10 of 12.
