MLB: New York Mets 6, Arizona 4

PHOENIX, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Luis Castillo and Cory Sullivan drove in runs in the eighth inning to give New York a two-run lead and the Mets hung on Wednesday to down Arizona 6-4.

Castillo sent the Mets ahead with a pinch-hit single and then scored on a triple by Sullivan.

Fernando Tatis had three hits and an RBI, and David Wright added three hits and scored twice for the Mets.

Pedro Feliciano (5-4) picked up the win in relief, yielding two hits, and Francisco Rodriguez notched his 25th save of the season.

Josh Whitesell drove in two runs, and Ryan Roberts had an RBI for the Diamondbacks.

Loser Jon Rauch (2-1) gave up two runs and three hits in an inning of relief.
