ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Ervin Santana pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout and Jeff Mathis drove in three runs Monday in the Los Angeles Angels' 6-0 win over Tampa Bay.

Santana (5-6) struck out six and walked two for the Angels, who have topped the Rays in the first two games of a three-game set in Anaheim, Calif.

Mathis had two hits, including a three-run double in the sixth, and Reggie Willits had two RBI and a run scored for the Angels.

Tampa Bay starter David Price (5-5) was cruising, allowing just one base runner after four innings, before the Angels scored three times in the fifth inning on Willits' RBI single and an RBI single by Chone Figgins. Price allowed six runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and no walks in six innings to take the loss.
