ST. LOUIS, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Matt Holliday had a triple, an RBI and a run scored Monday for the St. Louis Cardinals, who beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-1 for their fourth straight win.

Brendan Ryan, Khalil Greene and Colby Rasmus each had an RBI for St. Louis.

Kyle Lohse (5-7) earned the win after pitching six innings and giving up one run on four hits to end a four-decision losing streak. It was Lohse's first victory since May 23.

Brandon Phillips drove in the lone run for the Reds.

Cincinnati starter Johnny Cueto lasted just two innings after suffering a tight left hip flexor while running out a grounder.

Kip Wells (0-3) took the loss after giving up a run on a hit in 2 2/3 innings.
