Florida stays atop the BCS poll

CLEVELAND, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Aaron Laffey worked 6 2/3 shutout innings Tuesday and remained unbeaten at home this season to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 5-0 victory over Texas.
Laffey (6-3) allowed six hits for the Indians, who have won five of their last six games.
Luis Valbuena drove in two runs in the victory.
Josh Hamilton and Omar Vizquel each had two hits for Texas.
Texas starter Dustin Nippert (3-1) allowed five runs on six hits with two walks and 10 strikeouts.
