PHOENIX, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Doug Davis went seven innings and drove in two runs with a double Monday in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 7-4 win over the New York Mets.
Davis (7-10) earned his third straight victory, allowing two runs on four hits.
Miguel Montero had three doubles and two RBI, Trent Oeltjen homered and Chad Tracy drove in two runs for the Diamondbacks, who stopped a three-game losing streak.
Mike Pelfrey (8-8) went six innings, giving up five runs on eight hits to take the loss for the Mets, who have dropped seven of their last nine.
Fernando Tatis drove in two runs with a triple for the Mets.
