
CANTON, Ohio, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- LenDale White ran for a TD and Vince Young threw a TD pass Sunday, leading the Tennessee Titans past Buffalo 21-18 in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
In limited action in the opening game of the NFL pre-season schedule, Titans quarterback Kerry Collins went 7-of-10 passing for 82 yards. Young was 5-of-10 for 39 yards, a touchdown pass to Paul Williams and one interception for Tennessee.
Trent Edwards went just one series for the Bills, throwing an interception. Ryan Fitzpatrick was 6-of-11 passing for 61 yards and Gibran Hamdan threw for 89 yards on 11-of-13 passing for Buffalo.
Terrell Owens -- signed by the Bills after the Dallas Cowboys released him during the off-season -- had two catches for 27 yards.
The game's first touchdown came on a trick play, with Titans' rookie punter A.J. Trapasso faking a reverse and then going 40 yards for the score. LenDale White scored on a 3-yard run to make it 14-0 Titans.
Rian Lindell kicked three field goals for Buffalo.
