
DENVER, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Kosuke Fukudome's seventh-inning solo homer Saturday led the Chicago Cubs to a 6-5 win over Colorado.
He also knocked in a run with a fourth-inning double.
Milton Bradley had two hits and one RBI.
Ryan Theriot had three hits and one RBI, while Derek Lee and winner Ryan Dempster had one RBI each for the Cubs, who have won 11 of 16.
Dempster (6-5) surrendered five runs and nine hits in six innings.
Closer Kevin Gregg earned his 22nd save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Colorado's Chris Iannetta had two hits and two RBI.
Brad Hawpe had two hits and one RBI.
Clint Barmes hit a solo homer, and Ian Stewart had one RBI for the Rockies, who have lost three of four.
Losing pitcher Jason Marquis (12-8) gave up five runs and eight hits in six innings.
