RENO, Nev., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- John Rollins shot a 5-under 67 Saturday to widen his lead to four strokes after 54 holes of the PGA Reno-Tahoe Open.

Rollins, who is winless in four tries with the 54-hole lead but has won two PGA Tour titles, completed three rounds at 17-under 199.

"I guess what I've learned is you just play your own game," Rollins of playing with the 54-hole lead. "I think that the few times that I've been there before, you find yourself kind of watching the board maybe too much or trying to play a certain player that may be close to you starting the day."

Ryan Palmer (66) is in second place at 13-under 203, Joe Ogilvie (66) is third at 204 and Martin Laird (66) fourth at 205. Rocco Mediate (68), the 2008 U.S. Open runner-up, is fifth at 206.
