KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Former LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson, a first-round pick in the NFL Draft, signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday.
Terms were not disclosed, but the 6-foot-4 inch, 295-pound Jackson, a native of Edgard, La., is the fourth of this year's top-five picks to sign his first NFL contract, leaving Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry, the fourth overall pick, unsigned by the Seattle Seahawks.

In his career with the Tigers, Jackson compiled 122 tackles, 18 1/2 sacks, 27 tackles for a loss, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one interception in 53 contests.
