TORONTO, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The New York Yankees blasted three home runs off Roy Halladay Tuesday on their way to a 5-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Andy Pettitte (9-6) gave up a run on four hits with four walks in 6 2/3 innings to earn his first win since July 1. Mariano Rivera gave up three hits while recording the final four outs for his 31st save of the year.
Johnny Damon had a homer and two runs for the Yankees. Mark Teixeira and Hideki Matsui each had a solo home run and Alex Rodriguez also drove in a run.
Halladay (11-5) lost despite pitching a complete game. He allowed five runs on 10 hits with no walks.
Vernon Wells had two RBI for the Blue Jays, who have lost four of their last six games. Aaron Hill scored twice and had two hits to extend his hitting streak to 13 games.
