MLB: Minnesota 10, Cleveland 1

CLEVELAND, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Carlos Gomez hit a three-run homer and Scott Baker pitched seven scoreless innings Tuesday in the Minnesota Twins' 10-1 win over Cleveland.

The Twins had 16 hits. Gomez was 3-for-4 effort and four RBI.

Baker (9-7) allowed just three hits and a walk to win for the seventh time in his last eight decisions.

Jason Kubel homered and six Twins players had multi-hit games.

Jhonny Peralta and Travis Hafner each went 2-for-4 for the Indians, who have lost two of three.

David Huff (5-6) lasted just 4 2/3 innings, giving up seven runs on 11 hits.
