FRISCO, Texas, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- FC Dallas forward Jeff Cunningham, who scored four goals Saturday in a 6-0 win over Kansas City, was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week Monday.

"It was one of those games that every striker dreams of," Cunningham said. "It seemed as if everything I did went well. It is just one of those performances I am grateful for. I definitely want to thank my teammates."

Cunningham is just the second unanimous selection for MLS player of the week.

The other was Cunningham's former FCD teammate Kenny Cooper, who transferred to the German second division last week.

Cunningham has eight goals this season and 112 in his MLS career, good for second place all-time.
