Qualifier Bellucci takes Swiss Open title

GSTAAD, Switzerland, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Thomaz Bellucci, who had to qualify to get into the Swiss Open, won the event Sunday with a straight-set decision over Andreas Beck in Gstaad, Switzerland.

The Brazilian player defeated the German 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) for his first tournament win on the ATP tour.

Bellucci is the first Brazilian to win an ATP tournament since Ricardo Mellon nearly five years ago.
