HOUSTON, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Brian Ching had two goals, and Stuart Holden had a goal and an assist Saturday in the Houston Dynamo's 4-3 Major League Soccer win over D.C. United.

Brad Davis scored a goal for Houston (10-5-5), and Ching's goals came within a minute of each other late in the first half. Holden's goal, on a penalty kick in the second half, turned out to be the game-winner.

D.C. United (6-4-10) scored three times in the second half, getting two goals from Luciano Emilio and one from Fred.

Houston, with the best record in the league, leads second-place Seattle by six points (35-29) in the Western Conference.

D.C. United has just one win in its last six matches and sits in third place in the East, five points behind first-place Columbus and four points back of the second-place Chicago Fire.
