
OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Aaron Hill's had two hits, including a three-run homer, and drove in four runs Saturday to key the Toronto Blue Jays' 6-5 win over Oakland.
The homer, Hill's 25th of the season, erased a 4-3 deficit with two outs in the top of the fourth.
Lyle Overbay had two hits, including a second-inning solo homer, his 11th of the season. Raul Chavez had two hits and one RBI and Vernon Wells added two hits for the Blue Jays, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Winner Brett Cecil (5-1) gave up four runs and six hits in seven innings.
Jason Frasor earned his fourth save by quelling a possible bottom of the ninth rally.
Adam Kennedy led Oakland with a second-inning three-run double. Nomar Garciaparra and Bobby Crosby had one RBI apiece, while Tommy Everidge and Jack Cust added two hits each for the Athletics, who have lost two of three.
The losing pitcher was starter Trevor Cahill (6-10).
