MLB: Chicago White Sox 14, N.Y. Yankees 4

CHICAGO, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Scott Podsednik had four RBI, two in Chicago's six-run second inning, to lead the White Sox to a 14-4 victory over the New York Yankees.

Gordon Beckham had a pair of two-run doubles, and A.J. Pierzynski and Chris Getz each had three hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the White Sox.

John Danks (9-7) earned the win after yielding four runs on seven hits and four walks in six-plus innings.

A. J. Burnett (10-5), unbeaten in his previous six starts, gave up seven runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings for New York, which has lost three straight.

Mark Teixeira had two hits and two RBI, and Alex Rodriguez had three hits with an RBI and a run scored for the Yankees.
