
BALTIMORE, July 30 (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff's two hits and three RBI Thursday led the Baltimore Orioles to a 7-3 win over the Kansas City Royals.
His three-run double gave Baltimore a 5-0 lead with two outs in the bottom of the fifth.
One of two hits for Ty Wigginton was a solo homer.
Felix Pie had two hits and one RBI while Nick Markakis and Brian Roberts also had one RBI apiece for the Orioles, who earned a four-game split with their second straight victory.
Winner Brad Bergesen (7-5) yielded a run and seven hits in seven innings with two walks and six strikeouts.
Kansas City's John Buck hit a two-run homer.
David DeJesus had three hits and one RBI for the Royals, who have lost 13 of 16.
Losing pitcher Luke Hochevar (6-4) gave up seven runs and 11 hits in six innings.
