SEATTLE, July 29 (UPI) -- A two-run double by Ken Griffey Jr. in the seventh inning Wednesday boosted the Seattle Mariners to a 3-2 win over Toronto.
His second hit came with one out and the bases loaded, erasing a 2-1 deficit.
Jose Lopez had three of the Mariners' 11 hits -- one a solo, fifth-inning homer. Seattle has now won two in a row after a four-game losing streak.
Winner Ryan Rowland-Smith (1-1), who didn't surrender a hit through six innings, yielded three hits -- one a two-run homer by Adam Lind -- and three hits in seven innings.
Closer David Aardsma recorded his 25th save.
Alex Rios and Aaron Hill had the other hits for the Blue Jays, who have lost five of seven.
Losing pitcher Roy Halladay (11-4) gave up three runs and 11 hits in seven innings with no walks and six strikeouts.
