MLB: San Francisco 4, Pittsburgh 2

SAN FRANCISCO, July 28 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum struck out 15 and went the distance Monday in the San Francisco Giants' 4-2 win over Pittsburgh.

Lincecum (11-3) allowed two runs on four hits with three walks in his fourth complete game this season.

Andres Torres hit a two-run triple, Randy Winn had two hits and one RBI and Bengie Molina drove in a run for the Giants, who have split their last eight games.

Garrett Jones and Ryan Doumit each had an RBI for the Pirates, who lost their third straight game.

Pittsburgh starter Paul Maholm (6-5) took the loss, allowing four runs on eight hits over six innings.
