MLB: Kansas City 4, Baltimore 3 (11 inn.)

BALTIMORE, July 28 (UPI) -- John Buck's RBI single in the 11th inning Tuesday gave the Kansas City Royals a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Jamey Wright (1-3) earned the win with two perfect innings. Joakim Soria pitched the bottom of the 11th for his 17th save.

Willie Bloomquist was 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored, and Billy Butler hit a two-run homer for the Royals.

Jason Berken gave up two runs on six hits in six innings. Danys Baez (4-4) took the loss, the Orioles' seventh in their last eight games.

Adam Jones hit a two-run homer, and Matt Wieters had the first four-hit game of his career for Baltimore.
