CINCINNATI, July 27 (UPI) -- The Cincinnati Reds Monday placed outfielder Chris Dickerson and starting pitcher Micah Owings on the 15-day disabled list, the team announced.

Dickerson and Owings both suffered shoulder injuries in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Cubs in Chicago. Dickerson got a bruised right shoulder when he tried to make a diving catch and Owings left the game with a stiff shoulder.
