MLS: Colorado 4, New York 0

COMMERCE CITY, Colo., July 26 (UPI) -- Jacob Peterson, Pat Noonan, Nick LaBrocca and Mehdi Ballouchy scored Saturday and Colorado beat New York 4-0 to hand the Red Bulls their fifth straight loss.

New York ran its winless streak to 12 games, losing to a Rapids club that came into the match with but one win in its last five contests.

Peterson scored in the fifth minute and Colorado enjoyed a man advantage beginning late in the first half when the Red Bulls lost Sinisa Ubiparipovic to a red card.

Noonan scored in the 46th minute, LaBrocca found the net in the 61st and Ballouchy capped the scoring six minutes later.

Colorado (6-7-5) is tied with Chivas USA for fifth place in the Western Conference.

New York (2-15-4) is in last place in the East, 11 points behind sixth place Kansas City.
