WASHINGTON, July 26 (UPI) -- Washington's Austin Kearns singled in a run in the 10th inning Sunday, giving the Nationals a 3-2 victory over the San Diego Padres.
Nyjer Morgan began the Nationals' winning rally with a bunt single, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Willie Harris and scored on Kearns' line-drive into the right-center field gap.

Josh Willingham's slugged a home run for Washington.
Joe Beimel (1-5) got the win in relief of John Lannan, who pitched eight innings, allowing a run and five hits.
Kyle Blanks homered and Kevin Kouzmanoff had an RBI double for San Diego.
Greg Burke (2-3), victim of the 10th-inning Washington rally, took the loss.
