MLB: Atlanta 10, Milwaukee 2

MILWAUKEE, July 26 (UPI) -- Casey Kotchman, Kelly Johnson and Brian McCann homered for the Atlanta Braves Sunday in a 10-2 rout of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Kotchman hit a three-run blast that capped a four-run fifth inning and gave Atlanta a 5-0 lead.

Johnson contributed a two-run homer and McCann hit a solo shot and totaled two RBI. Matt Diazz also drove in a run for the Braves, who have won three of their last seven games.

Winner Derek Lowe (10-7), the first of four pitchers, gave up two runs and nine hits in six innings.

Milwaukee's runs scored on Corey Hart's two-run sixth-inning homer.

J.J. Hardy, Jody Gerut and Ryan Braun all had two hits for the Brewers, who have lost five of seven.

Losing pitcher Braden Looper (9-5) was tagged for five runs and seven hits in six innings.
