KANSAS CITY, Kan., July 25 (UPI) -- Claudio Lopez scored a goal for Kansas City and Landon Donovan scored for Los Angeles Saturday when the Wizards and the Galaxy played to a 1-1 tie.

The draw snapped a four-game winning streak for the Galaxy (6-3-10), who lead the league with 10 draws through 19 games this season.

Kansas City (5-6-6) is second-from-the-bottom in the East.

Lopez scored the game's first goal in the 26th minute when he fired a long-range shot from midfield past LA goalie Donovan Ricketts.

Donovan got the equalizer seven minutes later when he took a pass at midfield and collected his eighth goal of the season.

LA is in third place in the Western Conference, one point behind second-place Seattle and three points behind first-place Houston.
