
CHICAGO, July 25 (UPI) -- The suddenly red-hot Chicago Cubs hit three homers Saturday on the way to a 5-3 victory against the Cincinnati Reds.
In the bottom of the first, Aramis Ramirez followed Derek Lee's RBI triple with a two-run homer.
Alfonso Soriano hit a solo homer in the fifth, and Milton Bradley hit a solo shot in the eighth.
Soriano had three hits and Lee had two for the Cubs, who are 7-2 since the All-Star break.
Winner Kevin Hart (2-1) surrendered a run and five hits in six innings, and closer Kevin Gregg, the last of five pitchers, recorded his 20th save.
Cincinnati's Joey Votto had two hits, one a solo homer, and two RBI.
Jonny Gomes added a solo homer for the Reds, who mustered seven hits in their fifth straight loss.
Losing pitcher Johnny Cueto (8-7) gave up four runs and nine hits in six innings.
