INDIANAPOLIS, July 22 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Dmitry Tursunov of Russia advanced in Tuesday's first round of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships, subduing German Michael Berrer in three sets.
Tursunov, who won the tournament in 2007 and was runner-up last year, moved on by defeating Berrer 6-3, 2-6, 6-0 and will face the winner of Wednesday's match between American Taylor Dent and Marcos Daniel of Brazil.
