MLB: Milwaukee 2, Pittsburgh 0

PITTSBURGH, July 21 (UPI) -- Braden Looper pitched seven shutout innings and Prince Fielder had two RBI Tuesday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh.

Looper (9-4) limited the Pirates to four hits. Craig Counsell had three hits and two RBI for the Brewers.

Pittsburgh starter Virgil Vasquez (1-4) took the loss after giving up two runs on nine hits in 6 2/3 frames. Vasquez did not walk a batter.

Adam LaRoche and Delwyn Young each doubled for the Pirates.
