NBA's Hawks sign draft pick Teague

ATLANTA, July 20 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Hawks said Monday they have reached a deal with their first-round draft choice, guard Jeff Teague.

The NBA club didn't say how much it will be paying the former Wake Forest star or how long the contract is for.

Teague, the 19th overall pick in this year's draft spent two years with the Demon Deacons, averaging 18.8 points, 3.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals as a sophomore.
