
FOXBOROUGH, Mass., July 19 (UPI) -- Kheli Dube and Steve Ralston scored for the New England Revolution Sunday in a 2-0 Major League Soccer win over Chivas USA.
Dube slipped behind Chivas defenders, took a pass from Shalrie Joseph and got the first goal of the match in the 60th minute. Ralston added a goal in the 78th minute.
The Revs (5-5-5) climbed into a fifth-place tie with the Kansas City Wizards in the Eastern Conference. With 20 points apiece, New England and Kansas City trail first-place Chicago by eight points and are six points behind fourth-place Toronto FC.
Chivas, which has lost four straight matches, is 8-6-3 and tied with the Los Angeles Galaxy for third in the Western Conference behind first-place Houston and the second-place Seattle Sounders FC.
