
OAKLAND, Calif., July 18 (UPI) -- Erick Aybar had four RBI Saturday to lead the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to an 11-6 victory over the Oakland Athletics.
Chone Figgins hit a solo home run and scored three times and Kendry Morales scored two runs for the Angels, who have won five of their last six games.
Jered Weaver started for the Angels but gave up five runs on eight hits with three walks over just 3 2/3 innings. Darren Oliver (4-0) got the win for after pitching 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief.
Matt Holliday had two hits, two RBI and a run scored and Adam Kennedy and Orlando Cabrera each had an RBI and a run scored for the Athletics. Jack Cust added a solo home run and two RBI.
Oakland's Vin Mazzaro (2-6) gave up eight runs on 10 hits three-plus innings to take the loss.
