ST. LOUIS, July 13 (UPI) -- Milwaukee first baseman Prince Fielder won the 2009 Home Run Derby Monday, beating Texas outfielder Nelson Cruz in the final round.

Fielder, 25, became the first Milwaukee player win the Derby, held on the eve of Tuesday's All-Star Game. He had six homers in the final round to five for Cruz.
