MLB: Florida 8, Arizona 1

PHOENIX, July 12 (UPI) -- Cody Ross drove in three runs with a pair of doubles, and Jeremy Hermida belted a two-run home run for the Florida Marlins Sunday in an 8-1 rout of Arizona.

Hanley Ramirez added an RBI and scored twice for the Marlins.

Josh Johnson (8-2) was the winner, allowing a run and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. Johnson has won five of his last six decisions.

Stephen Drew singled in the Diamondbacks' run.

Losing pitcher Doug Davis (4-9) surrendered five runs and seven hits in four innings.
