DENVER, July 12 (UPI) -- Brian McCann hit two sacrifice flies Saturday, helping the Atlanta Braves record a 4-3 win over Colorado.
McCann's first homer put Atlanta in front 3-0 with one out in the top of the fifth. His second upped the lead to 4-0 with one out in the seventh.
Winner Jair Jurrjens had two hits and one RBI. Brooks Conrad drove in a run for the Braves, who have won four of five.
Jurrjens (7-7) surrendered two earned runs and five hits in six innings.
Closer Rafael Soriano, the last of five pitchers, recorded his 12th save by striking out the side in the bottom of the ninth.
Seth Smith led Colorado with two hits and one RBI. Troy Tulowitzki hit a solo homer, a run scored on McCann's seventh-inning passed ball and Todd Helton added two hits for the Rockies, who have dropped two straight after a four-game winning streak.
The losing pitcher was all-star Jason Marquis (11-6). He went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
