Adam Scott (66) and Soren Kjeldsen (70) shared fourth place, another stroke back.

"If you win a tournament anywhere, you take something from it, especially coming here to Scotland, the home of golf, it is unbelievable to win here," Kaymer said after his victory at the Loch Lomond Golf Club in Glasgow.

The 24-year-old Kaymer has won four European Tour events in a year and a half.
